For Great Business, planting trees is the most effective way to reduce poverty, develop, educate, restore biodiversity and return our atmosphere to the stable state of the past 800,000 years.
Great Business therefore collaborates with Eden Reforestation Projects. Eden operates in locations that are among the poorest in the world that are heavily deforested but at the same time the richest in nature. Her focus is on sustainable poverty reduction by planting trees by the local population. This means that Eden stands for jobs, prosperity and also a new jungle and biodiversity.
Eden Reforestation Projects has planted 1 billion trees in 18 years in Brazil, Ethiopia, Philippines, Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nepal and Nicaragua, and currently employs more than 11,500 people!
Work With Care is happy to contribute to this by having one tree planted per new client in this collaboration. This also contributes to the local population receiving a daily wage of 10 dollars, which is far above the amount they could otherwise earn. For example, people go to the forest with shovel and watering can instead of lighter and saw. Hopefully we can contribute in this way! 🙂
